“I APPRECIATE THE IMPORTANCE YOU PLACE ON GROWING YOUR TEAM AND LOOKING FOR OPPORTUNITIES TO DEVELOP THEM.”
– JANUARY 7, 2014 EMAIL FROM SARAH SCHUBERT (FORMER DIGITAL HR CONSULTANT APAC) TO PAUL SOMERS
As the former HR Director for Digital Realty APAC, you were a friend, confidant and major supporter, as evidenced by the January 7, 2014 email below:
In January you wrote that I was one of the few that “get it.” The following month or so you wrote and published a statement implying that I have a severe brain disorder.
In January you “love the banter.. a month later you write that I am “incoherent.”
Did I “place importance on growing my team“ or did I create “a very difficult environment for the team to perform” as you wrote the next month?
There must be two dozen or more examples of how your statements in March and April are completely incongruous with who I was and what I accomplished. For example, were you not the M.C. of my region-wide team building project, “Project Harmony?” Did you not applaud the fact that I was the only manager in region who made sure his team took time out for training? “Show up, plug in, get busy,” another project aimed at inclusiveness and team building..”Adopt a company,” another successful team project. What had the SVP or other managers accomplished. It’s up for discussion.
